Manager - Business Development

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a results-driven Manager – Business Development to lead workstation sales growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive revenue performance across our centers. In this role, you’ll design and execute target-driven sales strategies, actively network with key industry stakeholders, and lead by example to exceed both personal and team KPIs. You’ll also play a critical part in turning around underperforming centers, forecasting business trends, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilies:

Business Development & Sales

  • Generate workstation sales volume and value by developing and implementing a structured, target-driven strategy with a disciplined and proactive approach to marketing and networking

  • Attract and nurture new inquiries for centers that are approaching closure or need a performance turnaround

  • Actively network on behalf of TEC with Real Estate Agencies, Chambers of Commerce, Government Bodies, Professional Services firms, and Multinational Corporations (MNCs)

Executive Leadership

  • Identify operational and sales challenges, propose actionable solutions, and support the internal team in overcoming obstacles

  • Lead by example: set, pursue, and achieve personal and team sales targets and activity KPIs

Business Acumen & Performance Management

  • Understand, analyze, and forecast performance trends, including license revenue and occupancy rates

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in all sales and performance reporting

  • Demonstrate creative thinking to identify opportunities that maximize profitability

Communication & Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain exceptional client relationships that directly support business goals

  • Build and sustain strong partner relationships to drive mutual growth

  • Communicate effectively across departments, oversee the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure alignment on priorities

  • Work closely with BD, Operations, Accounting, and IT teams to maintain transparency and ensure smooth operational flow

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in relevant industries or roles (serviced offices, real estate, hospitality, or B2B services preferred)

  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Energetic, sociable, and highly target-driven with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and networking skills with the ability to build rapport quickly

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment while taking hands-on initiative to get things done

  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and build strong, sustainable sales pipelines

  • Strong relationship management skills with a track record of maintaining long-term connections with clients, affiliates, and key industry contacts

  • Confident negotiator with experience engaging and closing deals with decision-makers

  • A collaborative team player who leads by example and inspires others to perform
