Assistant Manager - Service Revenue (Meetings & Events)

Job Summary:

Service Revenue is a core department at The Executive Centre, responsible for driving revenue growth across five key verticals: Meetings & Events, Virtual Office & Coworking, Community & Partnerships, and Food & Beverage. There is a growing Service Revenue HQ Team (SR HQ Team) based in Hong Kong, who provide support across all 36+ cities within the TEC network, all sharing the goal of driving innovation, excellence, and maximum profit for TEC. 

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join the Service Revenue Team, with a dedicated focus on supporting the Meetings & Events vertical. This person will drive product optimisation to support revenue growth, lead the implementation and coordination of new systems, and conduct research to identify and launch new products in viable markets worldwide. They will support a variety of projects on a day-to-day basis – spanning project management, financial analysis, marketing, research, and product line-specific tasks, working closely with cross-functional Teams at HQ and globally. Responsibilities:

Management and Coordination of Meetings & Events Product Initiatives 

  • Work closely with relevant departments to manage and implement system adjustments that enhance business development and elevate client experience
  • Coordinate the rollout of new initiatives and platform updates, defining logic requirements, leading communication with local teams and HQ departments, and developing SOPs and presentations to ensure effective implementation
  • Drive initiatives to improve product tracking and data accuracy, establishing best practices for data management
  • Contribute to the strategic growth, design, and development of Meetings & Events products for new centre expansions, actively participating in project planning and execution

 

Financial Analysis & Reporting 

  • Lead the refinement and maintenance of global P&L and inventory tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals
  • Manage capital expenditure reporting processes and support the budgeting process, gathering and organising data to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Utilise data analytics tools to develop and oversee reports for Meetings & Events workflows, providing insights that support informed decision-making

 

Marketing Strategy & Broker Management 

  • Produce presentations and newsletters and support the creation and coordination of sales materials with the Marketing Team
  • Assist in the development and management of the global marketing calendar and collaborate with relevant teams to accurately reflect changes in global inventory and products across TEC's digital platforms and price guides
  • Design and manage a centralised broker management database gathering and analysing data on broker performance, revenue contributions, and broker effectiveness to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Create and implement structured processes and training programs for broker development while maintaining broker agreements, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Maintain and enhance comprehensive broker agreements, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and protect the company’s best interests

 

Miscellaneous 

  • Consolidate and address concerns from various teams and work with relevant departments to find effective solutions
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to changes and taking on ad-hoc tasks as assigned that support the wider team and departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience, ideally spanning project management or commercial/revenue functions, with some exposure to leading projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to build models and interpret performance data; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving
