Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for TEC members and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and prompt service to members, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, pantry, equipment, and service areas.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food and beverage items.
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
• Assist with meeting room refreshments, events, and other hospitality requirements as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a hospitality role is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and beverage preparation standards.
